I remember the first phone call with Hiten really well.
“I am crazy busy with the amount of work I have on, I need to open this office and it has to be perfect, I see you design restaurants, but I like your style, do you think you can take this on?”
The answer was of course yes! The rest I guess is history!
The property located in the heart of Eastocote in Harrow, a stones throw away from the underground station was previously an accountants office. So although there was no change of use application involved, there were plenty of challenges still as the building had not been touched in at least 50 years! Low false ceilings and dark carpets made the space feel dark, small and awkward. There were pipes over the walls for radiators which you could tell were a second thought as previous owners tried to bring the place up to date.
Hiten has been established in the industry for many years with many awards under his belt, so this project had to reflect his experience and passion. We sat together to discuss the brand direction and values and how this would translate into the interiors.
The brief followed the brand direction in ters of creating something that reflected trust, prestige and a family orientated approach to business. The care and compassion of the team is evident and it was important that this was reflected throughout the interiors.
The final result created was a contemporary, warm and welcoming space with traditional features such as the pannelling on the walls and textured wallpaper to bring depth and interest.
Both the owners Hiten , Trusha and staff members, were over the moon with the finished design and look forward to growing the business while srving the local community for years to come.
